If the original substrate or wall is of a poor quality or will require a skimcoat of plaster, choose Smart Magnetic Plaster. In just two coats, you will smoothen the wall and add a strong magnetic receptive surface.

If your wall surface is perfectly smooth, there is no need to plaster. Simply choose between magnetic wallpaper or paint.
What Finish Colour or Design Do You Want ?
Most magnetic surface solutions will be a shade of grey when dry. This is due to the magnetic ingredients in the product. Whilst some people like this end finish, did you know you can put another product, such as regular paint colour, or a digital print, or a wallcovering in your chosen design or colour, on top ?
In a working environment, many people might choose a white finish. In this case, choose our magnetic wallcovering as it comes with the advantage of being pre-primed, so it is white.
If you prefer a magnetic wall in a single colour, simply paint on top of your magnetic base. A regular paint colour can be applied on top of a magnetic plaster, paint or wallpaper. The choice is yours.
For a custom design finish, we advise putting your preferred wallpaper or digital print on top of magnetic plaster. Some wallpapers or digital prints might be thick, so you want them on top of a very strong magnetic base, to retain the magnetic properties.
What Magnetic Strength Do You Want ?
Choose magnetic wallpaper or plaster for the strongest magnetic performance.
Choose magnetic paint for medium magnetic performance. Apply 3 coats of magnetic paint as standard, or up to 6 coats for maximum performance (beyond which there is no increase in performance). Watch our video here.
How Quickly Do You Need Your Magnetic Wall ?
For architects, designers and installers working to tight deadlines, choose Smart Magnetic Wallcovering. This is installed just like any wallcovering. (Do use heavy duty adhesive due to the product weight). The wall will be ready to use in 24 hours or as soon as the adhesive dries.
If time is not important, choose magnetic paint as this needs time to dry between coats.
