It’s Time To Rethink Your Workspace

magnetic whiteboard, dry erase, magnetic, business, office walls, workspace

Here is a simple way, which uses inexpensive products that will change your office.

Workspaces today are designed around activity zones. So here are some ways you can use our simple but effective paint products to structure your office around how people like to work today.

Its all about creating zones.

Create a Workspace Presentation and Training Zone

Simply paint Projector Paint or apply Projector and Dry Erase Wallcovering.

With Projector Paint, paint two coats of this non-dry erase one coat paint, and you can start projecting as soon as the paint is dry.

No need for screens or any surface technology.

The wall looks white and so looks clean and bright. Even better, its always ready to use!.

Some people use border tape or paint a dark colour border around the projector paint for increased stand-out, if you are painting onto a white wall.

Use this uncluttered space for all company presentations, talks and training.

Create a Brainstorming Zone

Layer whiteboard paint on top of our magnetic paint for a surface that is both writable and magnetic. (Or consider any of our functional paint, wallcovering and plaster products to create this type of working wall.)

Use the entire wall.

This is an idea area for people to work on their feet, and in teams.

Ask people to bring images of what inspires them. Consider new products, nature, competitors, brands, colours, travel – ideas can come from anywhere. Stick them on the magnetic wall, move them around. Write on the walls. Wipe-off and write again.

Leave selected ideas and actions on the wall.

You could also use your magnetic writable surface for agile meetings, stand-up meetings, daily huddles, or any other way of working together.

Create a Meeting Space

Any room or even corner of a room can easily and inexpensively become a meeting zone with some Smarter Surfaces products. Simply apply our whiteboard coating in a transparent finish on top of a desk or table.

This means anyone seated around the table can doodle and draw notes or designs on the table to share with colleagues and clients. Simply add to the design, or wipe-off and start again. This is a very fluid and quick way to work together.

Does your workspace best reflect how you and your team work ?

If you communicate and collaborate, consider transforming entire walls into working surfaces.
